20th Annual Golf Outing benefits Free Clinic

We’re approaching the third Friday in June, and for friends of Carpenter Realtors® and Indy’s Gennesaret Free Clinic (www.gennesaret.org), that means golf!
I know what you’re thinking. “Isn’t Carpenter Realtors® just about listing homes for sale and finding buyers for those Indiana homes?” While that’s true, we’re also about the “giving back” part of community involvement.
To do that, our 20th annual golf classic fundraiser is next Friday, June 21st at Noblesville’s Pebble Brook Golf Course. All proceeds benefit the Gennesaret Free Clinic (GFC), providing free medical and dental care to adults and children in need.
As a (very) part-time golfer and observer of this event, I know this is more about friendship, fun and raising funds for GFC than it is about competition. Of course everyone is out there to play well and win, but the focus is always on GFC. Carpenter’s Senior VP and General Sales Manager David Caveness said “This allows companies, past clients, friends and neighbors to join us and enjoy a great day while having their support and donations go to a very worthy cause.” (That reminds me – if you’re playing next week, be sure to remember enough pocket money for all the game day fun – 50/50, skills contests, games and more.)
Carpenter Realtors® has been involved with supporting Gennesaret Free Clinic for over 20 years. Over $950,000 has been raised to help GFC provide needed care.
GFC provides free medical and dental care to persons in need through the volunteer efforts of doctors, nurses, dentists and clerks. The health care services GFC provides are needed now more than ever and are vital to keeping the homeless and working poor in our community healthy. And there may be no better way than to take a day off from home selling and home buying to play a round of golf and share our own blessings.
